BIONIC Babe

There is a new babe in the beauty mark and she's out of this world.

BIONIC Babe is the new sister beauty brand by the beloved local skincare company KiKi Beauty. The Babes launched back in November 2018 with 2 stunning shadow palettes, setting spray and brush all wrapped up in their custom girl-power pop-art design.

'YASS BABE'

Filled edge to edge with 9 oversized matte pressed powder eyeshadows with an unusual mix of neutral basics and editorial colour pops. This velvety soft palette blends effortlessly and works wonders with any other shadow palette, but be warned not to over blend as this super fine powder can blend into nothing when overworked. If you are looking for that opaque colour intensity rather pack on the shadow with a dense fluffy shadow brush on a primed lid and blend the edges with a tapered blending brush.

'METALLIK BABE'

This full shimmer and metallic pressed shadow palette offer some serious reflect payoff with a single swipe. Although there is no size indication with some size comparison the closest pairing was that of the original Chick.Cosmetcs Nighwind palette. The shadow formula is just as silky and smooth smooth to the touch and picks up beautifully with some kickback in the pan but minimal fallout on application. The metallic effect is applied with a soft romantic shimmer sheen but can easily be amped up when dabbed with a finger or spritzed with a spray. The colour combination is rather random when looking at the palette but this is not a full look palette, this is a palette you ad on to your current basic nude shadows. Each shade is spectacular with high trend editorial shades to classic golds each ready to glam up your shadow game and rather versatile as some of the shades make for amazing highlighter too.

Both eyeshadow palettes are presented in a cardboard flip with magnetic closure and wrapped in a fun pop-art design, the only thing missing is a mirror.

'SET IT BABE'

KiKi is known for their collection of setting sprays and there is no surprise that BIONIC launched with their own. Wrapped in the BIONIC girl power pop-art design this spray takes it to the next level. With a new fruity scent and anti-pollution blocking formula, it's a great addition.

And no collection will be complete without a super soft powder brush. You might think at first glance that that does look rather familiar but besides the due neon fibre bristles, there are some differences in design and finishes.

Available online with nationwide delivery I think this is a fun addition to any kit, might not be essential but certainly something to have for those special events.

Have you tried any of the KiKi or BIONIC Babe products? If so, comment with your fave from their collection!
