Dewy, radiant, glowing, luminescent, bling or blind; words we associate with the highlighter trend and by looking at my insta-timeline, no makeup look is complete without it.
A trend that evolved over the years has certainly made an impression on the makeup community and ignited a full-on invasion of formulas, applications and finishes. The highlighting trend is by no means a new fad but certainly has gone mainstream with the help of Instagram popularity. The desire to create a healthy appearance, a 'lit from inside' complexion has gone full-on glam meets the tin man from Wizard of Oz, but yet I can't help to be mesmerised by the shimmer and shine myself.
So let's see what GOSH has in store in the highlight department.
GOSH STROBE & GLOW KIT
A quad compact of four silky smooth highlights fit for a queen. Each wheel contains a combination of shimmer, metallic, iridescent and duo-tone highlighters perfectly pared to compliment any look, from subtle to glowgasmic. GOSH LIFT & HIGHLIGHT
These dual-ended matte and shimmer pencils are designed for detailed work. Brighten the eye area for that fresh and awake look, and sculpt the nose and cupids bow. Claimed to give a 'face-lift' without the surgery. Available in two creamy and super blendable shades.
▪️ 001 Nude; a combination of a warm gold highlight and a peach undertoned matte to conceal and brighten dark/ blue tones in the skin.
▪️002 Rose; a lighter combination of rose gold highlighter and light pink matte to brighten the overall eye area.
The Lift & Highlight pencils were definitely not created with the ladies of colour in mind, but the brand is new to the African market so I'm sure they will be more inclusive going forward.
LIFT & HIGHLIGHT: a creamy pencil to help sculpt and lift. Best suited for dry or mature skin.
GOSH GIANT SUN POWDER
This massive compact filled with a soft, silky pressed powder will highlight your skin for that healthy glow. A must-have to bronze and enhance any natural, or 'not-so-natural' tan. Dust all over with the GOSH Face brush 003 for a subtle daily glow. This is definitely not a blinding highlight, but rather a golden finish. An essential for the darker skinned goddesses.

Here are our top uses for the LUMI DROPS:
▪️ Highlight the high points: with your ring finger apply a couple drops to your cheekbones, cupids bow, the tip of the nose, and brow bones on bare skin or after foundation for that natural glow.
